Publisher Description
Stay informed. Help your community.
PHapp(R) puts verified local health and safety information in one place. Follow the places where you live, work and have family, and see what's happening there, from extreme heat and wildfire smoke to outbreaks and food recalls.
You can also tell us what you see. Report a problem or a local condition to Hub AI in your own language to help keep your community safe.
PHapp is free, and you don't need an account to read it. There are no ads, we don't sell your data, and we don't track you.
STAY INFORMED
Follow towns, cities, counties and ZIP codes. Your feed covers:
. Health and disease
. Weather and severe storms
. Heat, wildfire and air quality
. Food, medicine and product recalls
. Health advisories
. Hazards and emergencies
. Public safety
. Local resources and services
KNOW WHERE IT CAME FROM
Every item names the agency that published it and the place it applies to, so you can always see why it reached you.
HELP YOUR COMMUNITY
Seen a flooded road, a closed cooling center or something else your neighbors should know about? Tell Hub AI (Research Preview). Your report goes privately to the Hub team, who can follow up. It isn't posted publicly.
Know a useful local resource that's missing? Sign in and suggest it. An agency checks every suggestion before it shows up.
FIND LOCAL RESOURCES
Look up nearby cooling and warming centers, shelters, naloxone, vaccination sites and food, wherever your community lists them.
WHAT TO DO, NOT JUST WHAT HAPPENED
Many topics come with plain steps for before, during and after an event.
YOUR LANGUAGE
PHapp works in more than 50 languages.
YOU DECIDE WHAT REACHES YOU
Pick the places and topics you care about, and which of them send you notifications. Sign in to choose how many you get.
NO ACCOUNT NEEDED
You can read PHapp and get notifications on this device without an account, an email address or a phone number. Sign in when you want to personalize it or add another way to reach you.
SHARE WITH ANYONE
Send any item by text, email or group chat. The person you send it to can open it on the web without installing anything or signing in.
PRIVACY
No ads. We don't sell your data or track you. Location is optional, and you can find your community by name or ZIP code instead.
WHERE THE INFORMATION COMES FROM
PHapp is not a government app. Hub Public Benefit Corp. builds and maintains it, and our mission is to help turn verified information into coordinated action. Government agencies use PHapp to share information, work with community partners and respond to the people they serve. Most of what you see comes from public agencies such as the National Weather Service (weather.gov), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (cdc.gov), the Food and Drug Administration (fda.gov), the Department of Agriculture (usda.gov), and state, county and city agencies.
IMPORTANT
PHapp is not an emergency service. It does not replace 911, Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA), IPAWS or EAS, and we can't guarantee that every notification arrives. In an emergency, call 911.
WHO BUILDS IT
Hub Public Benefit Corp. builds and runs PHapp(R) together with the University of Arizona, the Arizona Department of Health Services and the Government of Bermuda. Hub PBC is a NOAA Weather-Ready Nation Ambassador(TM).
Weather-Ready Nation (WRN) Ambassador(TM) and the WRN Ambassador(TM) logo are trademarks of the U.S. Department of Commerce and NOAA, used with permission.
